Carter Reeves is coming in hot to summer 2018 with “Pay Day”, a sun-soaked single that’s tailor made for beach-ready relaxation. The track comes on the heels of “Fly High”, a release that received spins on Beats 1 Radio.
“I’m having fun making it, and I want people to have fun listening to it. That’s what I want to give to people: a brief moment of unconcerned bliss.” – Carter Reeves
Reeves spent the past six years achieving global recognition as part of the alt hip-hop duo Aer before making the move to solo material on his Fresh Fruit EP. The record has allotted over a million streams to date, preceded two standalone singles in “Grip” and “Aquarium”, and led to a performance by Reeves at Billboard’s Hot 100 Fest.
