Smashing down the barriers of indie and pop, with a dash of classic electro thrown in there for good measure, new Parisian based trio Royale Avenue are the next fresh sound emanating from France.
Made up of members Mattieu Tosi and brothers Jean-Noel and Laurent Wilthien, the band launch themselves with their debut single ‘The Rhythm Is You’, a feel good slice of dance-pop with a classic French electro edge, sprinkled with some pop sensibilities. Classic sounding soulful vocals and live instruments blended with electronic production are coupled with a wonderfully catchy hook to make this one hell of an opening number.
