Lauren Strange announces the debut of her new 3-song EP titled “SHAKE,” which is now available for purchase on all digital retailers and in physical format via Bandcamp.

The title track (“Shake”) echoes elements of 90’s-era PJ Harvey and the grungy guitar riffs of Wolf Alice while perfectly showcasing Strange’s signature style walls of guitars. Haunting synthesizer melodies perfectly accentuate the ethereal landscape of the song and pair perfectly with its dark lyrical content. The second track (“Young Wild & Innocent”) integrates the anthemic melodies of Bruce Springsteen with elements of the Gaslight Anthem, while the third and final track (“Cross Your Heart”) is carried by a guitar riff that takes the listener back to Strange’s grungy, guitar-heavy roots.

Strange, best known for winning the 2010 John Lennon International Songwriting Contest & the 2010 Lennon Award, follows her 2017 alternative rock EP release “Salt” & her well-received heavy take on The Cranberries’ “Zombie” with a brand new EP which leaves listeners hungry for more. Strange recently revealed that her next release will be a full-length album.

“SHAKE” is now available on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon mp3, Google Play, & Apple Music. A review link is provided below for the 3-song EP and Lauren is immediately available for interview

Since 2011, Lauren Strange has been focusing on numerous collaborations & tours with artists including Passion Pit, Jennie Vee (Courtney Love, Eagles of Death Metal), and Little Anthony & the Imperials.
