Exit Daze Releases Newest Single “Both Sides” Ft. Lissie

Harlem, New York-based indie rock band Exit Daze has released their newest sultry single entitle “Both Sides” featuring vocals from folk and indie pop vocalist Lissie. A music veteran, Lissie has been featured on Billboard along with many other notable publications. The song is available to stream now on Soundcloud.

The song starts with an echoey effect before switching the feel with funky guitars and a gutsy bass line.  “Both Sides” is a dreamy, laid-back musical experience. Multi-instrumentalist, and lead vocalist, Nick Tesorio has created a simple yet intriguing beat that fades in and out in the track about a struggling relationship. The vocalists struggle to mend their relationship with Nick singing “I’m seeing both sides but it’s not enough. Trying to compromise but it’s not enough.” Lissie wishes they could turn back time to fix where they went wrong while Nick shows off his impressive falsetto saying it’s not enough to fix the broken pieces of their relationship.

“Both Sides” is an ode to love lost with a hint of angst. The pair’s voices blend to create a mellow and intimate track. Exit Daze have crafted their unique lo-fi indie sound and are set to create more captivating tracks.

Exit Daze is led by singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, Nick Tesoriero. For his latest self-titled EP, he performed every instrument on the album. As well as produced and engineered the project in its entirety. Exit Daze lo-fi tone and dreamy sonics, blend together to serve a freshly consistent catalog, guaranteed to please your ears.
