The Jim Reynolds Band’s first single, “Firefly,” off the upcoming album ‘Glitter Bomb’ is the perfect lead in to summer. “Firefly” which is out May 22nd, brings together disparate elements from a slight Bossanova feel to 70’s rock and Motown to create a uniquely Southern California laid back sound. In Jim’s words, “Firefly is an upbeat love-song influenced by Mayer Hawthorne and classics Otis Redding and Smokey Robinson. It evokes images of the natural world and smiles on warm days.” Listen here
