Gia Koka delivers rebellious R&B on “Trippin”

Gia Koka loves the eccentric and the extreme – the highs just as much as the lows – but most of all, she loves the rush of the moment. And after generating over 100 million streams as a songwriter for big name acts as well as being featured on DVBBS & CMC$`s platinum awarded mega hit “Not Going Home,” Koka is set to release her single “Trippin” on May 25th via Virgin Records Germany/Universal Music.

“Trippin” has the nuanced from a seasoned songwriter, the passion of an artist who has been through life’s ups and downs. It’s multifaceted and infectious, while maintaining authenticity to a life has taught her many lessons already. But for Koka, what women should be like, what they should look like, behave like – she is happy to break the stereotypical rules. She has formed a life philosophy which she expresses not only through her love for self-destructive lyrics and extravagant vintage coats, but also through her atmospheric and animated mix of pop, electronica, rap and R&B.  “Trippin” is her second single in 2018, following “ASAP” featuring Danny Seth.
