South Wales Alt-Rock up and comers Frown Upon have just released a video for their new song ‘Float’. Recorded by acclaimed producer Neil Kennedy (Creeper, Boston Manor, Milk Teeth). Listen here
The band are set to follow up the release with extensive summer touring which will be announced in the coming weeks.
Hailing from Cardiff, South Wales; Frown Upon have already been receiving high praise for their high energy live shows in their formative months as a band. Combining punk ethos with math rock musicianship, the band have crafted an aggressive yet anthemic sound, drawing comparison to such luminaries as Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes and early Lower Than Atlantis. Despite their short time together as a band, FU have already made strides across the UK, supporting fellow Welsh outfit Holding Absence on a 7 day run, as well as completing weekenders with The Mausoleum Trap, Drones, Catch Fire, Guillotine & Terrible Love. The band recently compiled all their previously released material (along with new track ‘Scratch’) as a self-titled EP, which is available on all digital platforms with a limited number of physical copies.
With new, exciting and innovative material coming together, alongside acclaimed producer Neil Kennedy to realise their ambitions – Frown Upon look to position themselves among the elite new rock acts in the UK over the next 12 months and beyond.
