Nathan O’Regan – the Irish singer-songwriter to watch has released new single ‘Moving Closer’

Nathan O’Regan fever is growing in Ireland. After his highly successful single ‘Like Never Before’ saw him playlisting on Cool FM and Today FM last year, Nathan has been engaging with his audience in his much adored music-myth based podcast Mad Notions. His voice – both in song and in podcast manages to convey the dual optimism and pessimism of youth in the most heartwarming way. Nathan O’Regan has now released a second knockout single ‘Moving Closer.’ Listen here

Capturing that thrilling emotion of falling in love though pure pop hooks, catchy guitar and an exhilarating brass section, ‘Moving Closer’ will have you dancing around the room. Clearly influenced by classic songwriting (he has been compared to Bruce Springsteen more than once thanks to his gritty, soulful voice) Nathan knows how to find a pop hook that will stick in your head for days and his skillful writing accompanied with warm, polished productions makes this single pleasingly addictive to listen to.

Gareth Dunlop, Duke Special and Ryan McMullan have also jumped on the Nathan O’Regan train, bringing him on as their opening act where Nathan has been winning hearts with his passionate performances and humorous stories. ‘Moving Closer’ is soulful, uplifting and possibly catchier than should be allowed. An impressive follow up from ‘Like Never Before’ – we should all be keeping an eye on Nathan O’Regan!
