Brooklyn based independent solo artist Johnny Burgos is excited to announce the release of his new song “Set Yourself Free,” the lead single featured on his EP release Love Through It All, out this summer. Johny’s melodic voice and poignant vocals channel greats such as Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye, and Stevie Wonder. “Set Yourself Free” masterfully combines old-school funk and soul with new wave R&B to create a hauntingly beautiful melody that pulls at your heartstrings. Johnny had this to say about the forthcoming release of his new single, “It’s a song about taking the lead in lustful exploration to find liberation beyond our society’s limited spectrum of sex and love.” Johnny co-produced “Set Yourself Free” with Frans Mernick, best known for his work with Miguel, A$AP Rocky, Foster The People, and A$AP Ferg.
