ED SHEERAN ANNOUNCES SUPPORT ACTS FOR 2018 NORTH AMERICAN STADIUM TOUR

Global superstar Ed Sheeran has announced today on his socials the support acts for his first-ever North American stadium tour.  The cross country trek – which begins on August 18th at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, CA –  features special guests Snow Patrol (direct support on all dates), Anne Marie (August-September), and Lauv (October-November). See attached itinerary for a complete list of shows and lineups.

Sheeran is in the midst of a worldwide stadium tour supporting his blockbuster 3rd album “÷” (pronounced “divide”).  Earlier this week, he appeared on the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, with a live performance from one of 3 sold out nights at Dublin’s Phoenix Park.  That night, he also took home 6 awards – including Top Artist – after earning a field-leading 15 nominations.

In related news, Sheeran has teamed up with Twickets, the global fan-to-fan ticket marketplace, as a safe and secure place to buy or sell spare tickets for his upcoming North American tour.  Twickets – Ed’s preferred ticket resale partner for his current world tour – enables fans to ethically resell event tickets they can no longer use to other fans for no more than the face value of the original ticket, helping to combat the secondary ticketing market, where fans are continually having to pay inflated prices to see their favorite artist.  For more information, please visit  http://edsheeran.twickets.live/
