Tuxedo + Zapp band share “Shy” music video + Conan performance

Bonding over a shared love of Chic, Parliament, and the other signs in the greater funk Zodiac, Mayer Hawthorne and Jake One make up Tuxedo.

In March, Tuxedo partnered with members of the iconic Zapp band for an addictive slapper “Shy.” They played the track for Conan two days ago, watch here:


Today they also release the official music video for “Shy”via YouTube. A roller skate disco throwback first premiered by Apple Music, you can watch here:


Says Tuxedo on the video, “I wish this club really existed. Thanks to the Troutman family for making dreams come true.”

Tuxedo have released two albums (Tuxedo and Tuxedo II) on Stones Throw.
