The UK’s fastest rising Folk-Americana bandThe Wandering Heartsare setting their sights on Nashville next month, when they will become the first UK band ever to debut at both the Ryman Auditorium and Grand Ole Opry in the same week. The UK four piece will join Marty Stuart at his Late Night Jam at the Ryman on Wednesday June 6, performing alongside artists including Margo Price, John Prine and Chris Stapleton, as well as performing on Friday June 8, making their debut at The Grand Ole Opry. The Wandering Hearts will also perform at CMA Fest on June 8, The Basement on June 12, and will make their debut at the legendary venue The Bluebird on June 13. The band perform in the USA after receiving a personal invitation from Marty Stuart to join him on the Nashville and Memphis dates of his tour after they supported him on his most recent UK tour.
The band stated, “We are beyond excited to be coming to Nashville for the first time as a band and to play these iconic venues, steeped in musical history. We are hugely grateful to Marty Stuart for inviting us to join his line up at the Ryman and play The Opry. It’s a privilege and a great honour and we cannot wait for this incredible opportunity.”
The Wandering Hearts werediscovered in the UK within half an hourof uploading their first demo online, and shortly after were signed to the prestigious record label,Decca Records. With their seamless vocal harmonies, The Wandering Hearts are reminiscent of First Aid Kit and Of Monsters and Men, whilst channeling Fleetwood Mac’s pop sensibility and the storytelling of Chris Stapleton, all the while keeping their British roots at their heart.
They have secured the support of British music industry and media including: Music Week, The Sunday Times and Daily Telegraph as well as picking up the coveted ‘Bob Harris Emerging Artist’ award at theUK Americana Awards 2018.Bob Harris stated,“ I was just blown away by them, by their harmonies, their energy, their enthusiasm and of course the fantastic quality of their music.
