Edwin Organ Share New Track & Scottish Compilation Launch

To coincide with the release of their ‘Tiger Collections’ album, the students of Riverside Music College are putting together a special launch show   featuring live sets from Edwin Organ, Fauves and Skjor at the CCA in Glasgow on Friday the 25th of May.

Tiger Selections’ is a new album that brings together some of the best new and unsigned Scottish independent music around today. Featuring fourteen bands from all over Scotland, the artists on the album were selected by the Riverside Music students as part of their HND Music Business Course in Glasgow and is due on their own Little Tiger Records on the 1st of June 2018.

Released on CD and available digitally at all major outlets, the album is a truly brilliant and innovative introduction to some of the best un-signed talent around and includes the lead single; ‘Royal Rumble’ by Glasgow based artist Edwin Organ.

This feeds into the students’ academic learning about the creative processes, through to the legal requirements associated with recording and publishing copyright registration.

“I believe the Little Tiger students have assembled an exciting compilation of Scottish artists, which reflects the eclecticism that currently manifests itself in Scottish independent music. The students have been involved in the mastering, design, administration, and distribution processes, liaising with industry professionals in the process. We hope the attention gained by ‘Tiger Selections’ will shine a light brightly on both the artists’ and the students’ creativity”.
