On Your Own is the debut single from UK two piece No Fit State. Direct and bold, dripping with riffs and anthemic hooks from the start topped off with storytelling lyrics, No Fit State are here to prove that rock’n’roll ain’t dead. Watch here

Hailing from Leeds and Bradford in the UK and recently signed off the back of one demo and previous credits with other acts, guitarist Danny Yates (former credits: Warner Bros, BBC Radio 1, Kerrang, Rockstar Games and HBO) and drummer Mike Neilson have joined forces to form No Fit State. With debut single ‘On Your Own’ set for a worldwide release on Thursday 24 May 2018. It will be available on all streaming and download platforms.

Already building a buzz in the industry and amassing fans old and new, the boys have called on all their experience from their days with their previous acts and are ready to give the people what they want. Formed in late 2017 and following up from previous releases on Warner Bros and tours with the likes of Supergrass, Kasabian and Twin Atlantic to name a few, the boys now form No Fit State, a no nonsense 2-piece modern day blues rock band that sounds familiar from the first listen, due to Yates’ instantly anthemic riffs courtesy of his NASA-worthy effects pedal board coupled with instantly memorable singalong lyrics drawing on everyday experiences.

Danny says of the song, “it’s about someone living on the edge, they thrive on playing with danger. Someone who wants that lifestyle so bad but then suddenly find themselves in too deep, on their own and can’t turn back”.

No Fit State plan to release more singles and an album before the end of the year and will be announcing some exciting live dates in the coming weeks and months.
