Hi D, welcome to VENTS! How have you been?

Hi! It’s been crazy lately I must say but i’m doing very good i think…

Can you talk to us more about your latest single “The Circle”?

I think it would be much more interesting if i’ll let people take it to their own levels.

when i listen to other artists that i like too… sometimes i feel like that maybe im getting it all wrong but it doesn’t really matter as long as the song did something to me.

I would leave it as a mystery for now.

Did any event in particular inspired you to write this song?

How was the filming process and experience behind the video?

It was exhausting but very fun… I took some time to produce this music video and i had a few ideas and eventually i decided to go with one.

I really tried to be modern and bring my own thing in the same video.

The single comes off your new album My Story – what’s the story behind the title?

I’ve been through rough times…. I think this album is kinda gathering all those events, feelings and raw emotions to a one album that tells you some story about it.

In that case it would be “My Story”.

How was the recording and writing process?

VERY EMOTIONAL i have to say that i took a step up from the album”Remove Those Feelings” as far as straight forward lyrics …ill let everything out and then i see what i like and what i don’t like, what works with all the rest, and then moving on to the recording/Producing process which is the time that you starting to understand what you got in your hands.

Its never an easy process, but eventually i get to that point when you push the play button and my eyes starting to tear.

What role does LA play in your writing?

Its funny you are asking that… You know, the lifestyle, Sports cars, money, fame its all very enhanced in this place.

I felt that from the moment i got here…

I did included one song about that it called “Fools” This is a quote from the song”

“I cant breath,i feel stuck here in the fame, and i can see what’s the score like through all the game”

How Radiohead and The Killers has influence your music?

Radiohead would be my number one emotional band in the world And i feel very connected with Thom york’s style of singing. I was listing to them since i was 14 years old… and i think that style kinda got into me because of that.

And The killers are a band that i really took some production and singing influence from them.

What stories did you get to tell on this record?

I think i got to tell just one story.

Any plans to hit the road?

Yes, Please follow and stay updated for that!

What else is happening next in Decreek’s world?

A lot! I did started to write the third album and im planning to release it next year. The sooner the better, I’m almost 30 and time is running out.

Life brought me to a place that i try to live everyday like its the last day And that’s my main drive to be honest

Life is too short.

But im very grateful to have 2 album out… successful or not. And to be alive.
