ALEX RIDDLE PREMIERES POWERFUL LIVE RENDITION OF “SCOUT” FEATURED ON HIS NEW EP ‘SNOW WHITE’ DUE OUT JUNE 1ST

Singer-songwriter Alex Riddle has premiered a stunning live version of his track “Scout” over on Treble Zine. The track will be included on the digital version of Riddle’s forthcoming sophomore EP “Snow White,” an EP that will also see a vinyl release, which drops on June 1st.

To celebrate the release of his forthcoming EP, Alex Riddle will performing a record release show on June 2nd at White Oak Music Hall in Houston. Tickets are still available here.

Alex Riddle’s unique approach to songwriting and composition—as well as his prodigious talent as a vocalist and guitarist—have Riddle poised to carve out a spot in the ever-changing indie rock pantheon. While his affinity for exploration and experimentation leads often to stranger territories, Riddle takes great care to make sure that his work maintains its emotional immediacy and directness, which in turn keeps it accessible. Still, his fundamental musical goal is cathartic in nature. “I want the listener to feel that something dramatic is happening, that something is at stake,” said Riddle in an early interview with Houston Press. “I’m not interested in easy listening.”
