Mysteron Announces New Album + New Music Video Released

Mysteron have returned with the release of their new single “Me, Me, Moi” featuring the one and only, Russell Senior from the legendary band Pulp. Watch here

Mysteron ended a string of shows in 2017 by supporting The Moonlandingz in their last ever gig at The Leadmill in Sheffield and are now set to release an E.P. entitled Parallel Universe on July 7th.

An absurdist poke at modern life featuring fuzztone guitars, Delia Derbyshire inspired synthesizer and love-sick northern wit; Parallel Universe combines elements of Garage Rock, Psychedelia, Electronic Pop and Post-Punk. The esoteric sounds featured on Parallel Universe are mirrored by Mysteron’s eccentric stage show often as comedic as much as they are cut-throat, fronted by a caped man seemingly confused by the world in which he lives.

Influences include Broadcast, Silver Apples, The Fall, Electric Prunes, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Joe Meek, Delia Derbyshire, Barry Gray, Jon Barry, Jilted John, The Seeds, James Brown, Serge Gainsbourg.
