The Independent Music Awards is a world-renowned community of innovative artists and engaged fans that put artistry, individuality, and the overall pursuit of excellence at the forefront of what they do. Each year, the IMAs honor the most exceptional music, video, concert photography and designs by established and emerging talent in different categories.

Artists are nominated by a body of iconic musicians and artists, fans, press, talent buyers, and other prominent member of the music scene through North and South America, Europe, and the Pacific Rim.

Each year, the ceremony is held in New York City’s iconic Lincoln Center of the Performing Arts, giving out awards in a total of 96 different categories covering best album, EP, song, video, producer, photographer, and design.

It is a huge honor to be nominated for such a prestigious and competitive award, but Joan Torres’s All Is Fused managed to earn three separate nominations: their album “Of The Musical” for best Funk/Fusion/Jam and best Jazz album, and their track “Demiurge” earned them a nomination for best music producer in the jazz category.
