MADISON MARS SETS NEW BAR WITH FESTIVAL BANGER: ‘BACK THE FUNK’

Following a string of stellar debut releases that have stormed Spotify, Estonian DJ/producer Madison Mars has gone to the next level with his latest release, Back The Funk, out now on Tiësto’s label, Musical Freedom.

Back The Funk is a wild future house track, which boasts funk thanks to its unrelenting, heavyweight bass and pitched-down vocals. Believe us when we say it definitely needs the sirens in it; this track is going to cause utter chaos at the clubs and festivals.

Madison Mars explains: “With the upcoming festival season in mind, I wanted to create something different and energetic for my DJ sets. ‘Back The Funk’ is a perfect blend of different house music genres, delivering that true mainstage feel and vibes.”

Madison Mars is no stranger to producing immense tracks for mainstages. His recent release Atom was played by Martin Garrix at his Tomorrowland mainstage set in 2017, as well as DJs including Chainsmokers, Hardwell, Afrojack, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, resulting in the tune topping the 1001tracklists charts last September. With his unique take on future house and impeccable production prowess, Madison Mars is becoming an in-demand remixer too. Together with his own releases, Madison Mars’ remixes for Martin Garrix, Hardwell, P!NK, SIA, Galantis, Sting and Tritonal racking up a mind-melting 65 million streams on Spotify. It’s time to follow this future star of future house on the successful road ahead.
