Industrial noise-punk duo Black Futures have announced Pure Rapture, which will take place on the 26th of June at Electrowerkz alongside a string of UK festival dates this summer.
To get a flavour of the visceral energy of their live show, you can see the band perform amid atmospheric theatrics in footage from the band’s ‘Get Rich’ show earlier this year at Hangar in East London, where the audience were initiated into the Black Futures Existential Expedition Club.
Promising to transport those present into a transcendental sonic armageddon, Pure Rapture will be a mesmerising assault on all senses. With absorbing theatricals complimenting the unrelenting musical onslaught, the show will offer refuge to those who find the summer sun overwhelming and seek shelter in apocalyptic aural darkness.
The band will also be bringing their anarchic anthems to a host of festivals over the summer, including Reading & Leeds, The Great Escape, 2000 Trees, Y Not, Boardmasters and ArcTanGent festival.
