Giovanna Releases New Music Video For ‘Can’t Go Back’

Her previous offering, ‘Surrender with Strength’ included a stunning feature that gained Giovanna awards at ‘The Accolade Global Film Competition’ and the ‘Best Shorts’ film festival in LA. Produced by Liam Howe (Lana Del Ray, FKA Twigs, Ellie Goulding), the track shows an edge to Giovanna, with her ethereal vocal creating a haunting topline to the delicate, powerful instrumental made up of strings, piano and electronic blips. 

Now Giovanna comes through with ‘Can’t Go Back’ – a gorgeously pared-back, ballad that underlines her ability to convey the kind of emotion befitting of a young romance. Again, it’s the presence of the trip-hop instrumentals that offer a unique style, a languid, 90s-era backbone to balance Giovanna’s plainly powerful vocal and evocative lyricism.
