Eleanor Friedberger Releases “Everything” Video Today, Announces Fall Tour Dates!

Eleanor Friedberger released her new album, Rebound, on Frenchkiss Records last week to wide acclaim.  A video is now available for her brilliant track, “Everything”. Directed by Jonah Freud, he describes the video as “A surreal daydream of satisfaction, borne out of and finding joy within the mundane, ‘Everything ‘is a romp through the joyous, the silly, the sensual and the pleasing. Playing with the traits of the ASMR video world and the falsity of tutorial culture, while still indulging in their pleasures, the music video serves simultaneously as an embrace, an homage and a commentary to the world in which it exists.” Click HERE to watch it.

Eleanor has also just announced a new fall worldwide tour, starting in DC this September and hitting LA, Chicago, London, and Amsterdam. This spring, she will be opening for The Decemberists on various dates between now and June.  All tour dates are below.

Rebound is the incredible next step in a lauded, brilliant recording career by one of the most prolific, daring independent artists of our time.  From her days spent in The Fiery Furnaces, creating melodically off-kilter, idiosyncratic mini-epics, to her three acclaimed previous solo albums, Eleanor Friedberger continues to create exactly what we need to hear when we need to hear it.  Always anchored by her plaintive, velvety alto, and Dylan-esque lyrical treatises, Rebound is Eleanor at her very best, and a welcome addition to her rich, celebrated catalogue.
