Louis Samson releases ‘Plans’ alongside debut EP ‘2 Years 7 Songs’

Louis Samson, the former lead singer and songwriter from successful Danish duo, Julias Moon, releases his 4th single, ‘Plans’, alongside his first EP as solo artist, ‘2 Years 7 Songs’.

Single: ‘Plans’

EP: ‘2 Years 7 Songs’

The focus single of the EP is ‘Plans’, Louis said about the track; “Plans is a train of thought, about not having enough time with your loved one, but making sure the time you have really counts”.

The complete EP ‘2 Years 7 Songs’ is a result of Louis first two years as a solo artist; “The title of the EP pretty much describes everything explains Louis– all seven songs were written within the last 2 years of my life. Every song captures a certain feeling or state of mind at the time a song was created – and gives a pretty good idea about my life over the last two years”, he continued; “I think it’s important to see this EP as a collage – more than a collected piece”.

Louis Samson has received critical acclaim from the likes of Complex, Iggy Mag, Purple Melon, Gems & Secrets along with strong support in his home country Denmark, where his debut single was Pick of the Week on P3 and entered the Danish Airplay Chart at No. 20. With additions to a number of key Spotify Playlists including Nordic/Icelandic and Danish New Music Friday, ‘Reflection’ has already amassed over 430k streams.

Louis Samson will be performing at SPOT Festival May 11th and is furthermore confirmed to several festivals in Denmark during the summer.
