Country Duo October Rose Double Down With ‘All In’ EP

Today, October Rose are thrilled to share their debut EP, All In. The country duo lay their cards and hearts on the table with this dynamic collection that encompasses everything from lighter-waving anthems to heartbreaking ballads. Having met in songwriting circles in New Jersey, Derek Allen and Leanne Weiss formed October Rose in late 2016 and have been making waves in the Tri-state country scene with a residency at the prestigious Opry City Stage in Times Square, NYC, and support slots with well-known artists such as Drew Baldridge, Russell Dickerson, and Sara Evans.

The release of All In was preceded by the singles “Heartbreak Song” (which gained radio adds in TN, MO, KY, NY while continuing to build traction), “Closer”, and the EP’s title track. Each single offering a refreshing new angle on the duo’s carefully-crafted country.

Previous to October Rose, Leanne had forged a blossoming solo career which saw her featured in Taste Of Country, The Boot and more. When Pittsburgh-native Derek relocated to NYC the pair bonded over their shared influences. Not just students of classic country, October Rose are not afraid to to give an affectionate nod to the hair metal anthems of the 80’s. Sharp-eared listeners may pick up elements of fellow Jersey native’s Bon Jovi and Skid Row. What’s for sure is that October Rose have created a sound that is more than the sum of its parts.
