“If You Were Me You Would Be” is the 5th single from Valerio Lysander’s upcoming album. The song is a humorous and bittersweet song in 6/8 with orchestral string, tuba and bassoon arrangements and an architected contrapuntal choir that gives an insight into the life of an independent musician struggling in music business and in a society where the audience has lost the understanding of the economical value of music.
Together with the single (with an official music video on YouTube available to stream for free on Spotify and for free download on Bandcamp), Valerio has launched a pledge campaign on Kickstarter to fund the finishing touches of my new album, “We Are Like Coloured Moths Towards The Sunlight”, due to be released in the Summer.
