HUME Releases ‘Real Close’

Sometimes an artist emerges into the scene already seemingly fully-formed, a natural combination of talent and prowess. In this way HUME emerges into the musical ether as a stark, talented singer/songwriter from the middle of nowhere, Buckinghamshire, with his debut release “Real Close”. What is immediately apparent is HUME’s soft gravel of a vocal style, a textured thing of beauty that frames an instrumental palette of electronic production and R&B. Listen here

Speaking on the track, HUME states: “The final lyric sums up my mindset; not being able to fully address what I’m wanting to say when I’m infatuated by someone – all those confused, conflicting feelings and not being able to truly tell if it will be something short-lived, or something a little longer.”
