(1) How would you classify your music?

Grown Folks Hip Hop, Melodically served on a bed of R&B, with Metaphors included!

(2) Who are some of you top 5 musical influences?

George Benson, Rochelle Farrell, Big Daddy Kane, Ludacris, LL Cool J.

(3) What do you want fans to take from your music?

That I don’t need to Degrade Women… for a dj to keep my record spinning.

And, I don’t have to speak derogatory…to write an interesting, enjoyable story.

(4) How’s the music scene in your locale?

Kind of quite, with little to no support from the local radio stations.

(5) What is the best concert you have been to?

Tyler Perry stage plays! It delivers various life experiences, comedy, and strong vocal deliveries all on one stage.

(6) What do you like most about playing live?

The exciting opportunity to personally interact with the audience.

Is there a song on your latest CD release here that stands out as your personal favorite, and why?

Yes. “ STAY DOWN “!

Discussing the topic of “ Staying Down “ is my version of pre-relationship or premarital counseling. This way, love prospects can discuss their future expectations.

(8) How have you evolved as an artist over the last year?

In the last year, as an artist, I’ve evolved…

Mentally: By nonstop brainstorming on clever, original rhyme patterns, that’s sure to awaken ears for years.

Emotionally: By digging deeper into my soulful lyrical archives to share very passionate, relatable experiences.

By turning OFF the radio, and turning ON the Lyrical Waterfall in my heart and mind, and letting it pour from the core, of my lyrical reservoir.

If you could meet, play a gig, co-write a song, have dinner, have a drink with any band or artist (dead or alive), who would it be?

Hard to select just one. However these are at the top of my list.

Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Bernie Mac, Heavy D, Rakim, Ludacris and Tyrese!

(10) What’s next for you?

Next, I’m hoping to become a Songwriter for other current and upcoming celebrities, as well do more song collaborations.

While also trying to have my songs submitted for movie soundtracks, tv series, sports events, commercials, etc.

Meanwhile, I have many invites for live radio interviews. I’ve also already began developing ideas for my follow up EP!!!
