Emma McGrath Confirmed to Play BBC Music The Biggest Weekend

The countdown is on for the most exciting live music event of the Summer, as BBC MusicRadio 2 and Radio 3 join forces to bring two days of spectacular performances to Scone Palace.

Emma McGrath is confirmed to play BBC Music The Biggest Weekend: Perth on Saturday 26 May 2018 alongside Noel Gallagher’s Flying BirdsSimple MindsEmile SanThe Beat and Rae Morris.

You can listen to Emma’s ‘Silent Minds’ EP on Spotify or SoundCloud, out now.

You may have been hearing the name Emma McGrath darting around the blogosphere of late, and for those in the know, this will come as no surprise. Emma has been causing quite a stir with her recent singles ‘Love You Better’ and ‘Butterfly’- taken from her new ‘Silent Minds’ EP- both of which have received astounding support from BBC Introducing, Amazing Radio and Radio X, and blogs such as Breaking More Waves, The Line Of Best Fit, The 405, and Press Play, as well as reaching top spots on Hype Machine and being picked up by a number of key Spotify playlists.

Since being awarded the PRS For Music Foundation’s Women Make Music grant in 2017, the 18 year old London-based artist has been working hard on the EP with several highly qualified and exciting producers including Grammy Award winning Jimmy Hogarth, Brit School alumni Jackson and Rhiannon Mair.

Whether it be a rollercoaster ride full of relationship conflict in ‘Off The Wall’, the moral high ground in ‘Butterfly’, getting lost in the quirky structure of ‘Silent Minds’, or becoming enveloped in nostalgia about a carefree childhood in ‘White Lines’, Emma always manages to present both sides of the story, and as a result, the ‘Silent Minds’ EP is full of thought-provoking lyrics and seriously well put together catchy pop gems for her constantly growing and passionate fan-base.
