Today, SoCal alternative pop trio Bahari release the new song “Savage”, heading into unchartered territory for the band, following their own path in the independent music scene – creating music on their own terms that is reflective of their perspectives as strong young women. The track is currently featured in Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’ playlist.

“Savage” is a confident song that teases a wild love capable of manic destruction. The lyrics speak of a “madness” that ranges from heaven to hell, advising their beloved conquest to “be careful,” as they may flourish or drown in this whirlwind romance. One thing known for sure – as evidenced by this single and their most recent musical output, Bahari are a powerful force to be reckoned with.

“This song is definitely one of the more fun ones from our album,” share Bahari. “Writing “Savage” made us feel really empowered and kind of bad ass. We couldn’t wait to share it.”

“Savage” follows their two latest independent releases “Fucked Up” and “For What It’s Worth”, a cover of the Buffalo Springfield classic in support of the youth movement for gun control. A full album is slated for this summer.
