Nashville-based vintage-pop-rock outfit JET BLACK ALLEY CAT are thrilled to launch their new single “MIAMI BABY” after partnering to stream the track as a ‘first play’ withBaeble just yesterday. “MIAMI BABY” is the lead single off their newly announced MOTEL EP, which drops on May 25th. Just in time for Spring to blossom, the track will have you daydreaming of warmer days in the ‘magic city’.

When asked about the release of “MIAMI BABY, the band said: “Such excitement to finally release ‘Miami Baby’. Our band has a special relationship with the city, its culture, and sense of independence and youthful uprising that comes along with being in Miami. This track has been one of our favorites to write and record. We believe it is a tone setter for all that is to come on the EP to follow.”

Fans can expect to see a visual pairing for “MIAMI BABY” later this season in advance of their forthcoming MOTEL EP. Until then, “MIAMI BABY” is available for purchase / streaming at the links below.

Hailing from Music City, the band has often received comparisons to fellow Nashville-artists such as LANY, Moon Taxi, and Coin in addition to contemporaries The 1975, La Bouquet, Vinyl Theatre, and Vesperteen. The similarity most certainly rests in their devoted, core fan-base tracking the band every step of the way, eager to hear the new tunes. Growing rapidly as a force, the band has surpassed 1MM total Spotify streams in under one year with just one self-released EP to date entitled Part One. It’s clear that JET BLACK ALLEY CAT have been able to stand out of a crowd centered on jazz, bluegrass, and country with their unapologetic style and dynamic energy that has listeners hooked.

JET BLACK ALLEY CAT are also no strangers to the road outside of Nashville, having performed with the likes of Pvris, Taking Back Sunday, We The Kings, Cute Is What We Aim For, The Dangerous Summer, and more. The band demands your attention when they hit the stage, whether as the headliner or the opener, luring you in with catchy choruses that’ll have you shamelessly singing along at the top of your lungs. Feeling the most at home with their fans across the country, the five-piece is set to rock your town and tour non-stop throughout 2018.

Beginning with their debut record Part One the band’s goal has always been to bring listeners into a whole new world of cool. Singer Joe Wilkinson plays the Pied Piper, with a charisma that mixes Mick Jagger and the Scarecrow from the Wizard of Oz, gathering a flock of devoted followers who all want to get closer to the band’s undeniable energy and sense of cool. With a live performance engulfing you into the nostalgia of an old 70’s rock show and the genuineness of the songs themselves, JET BLACK ALLEY CAT are on the verge of something great.

Raised in five humble households, the boys of JET BLACK ALLEY CAT left from their conservative homes in search of their own sense of truth. In 2014, the five-piece met in Nashville, TN and never looked back. After teaming up with producer Roger Alan Nichols (who is credited for working with the likes of Steven Tyler, Paramore, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, and Larkin Poe), the band began their journey of fusing a love for rock ‘n’ roll and the glamorized pop elements of acclaimed filmmaking. Movies like Dirty Dancing, Top Gun, Greece and Drive additionally inspired much of the early work.

JET BLACK ALLEY CAT is most notable for their unique and organic fashion sense. Thrifting from small towns across America and not just reserving the ensembles for the live show – their daily attire is hand-customized, with nods to Queen, Patrick Swayze and Elvis Presley. Citing their adoration for an array of iconic artists like Johnny Cash, Kanye West, The Killers, and Amy Winehouse, the boys have fostered a freshly familiar yet new and explosive edge to the sound of the pop/rock world. The band is unafraid of cultivating their own world for their followers and themselves to live in.
