POSTSCRIPT CELEBRATE ONE MILLION VIEWS ON “#PICTUREDAY” MUSIC VIDEO

Alt/Pop music act, PostScript (RIYL Owl City Relient K, One Republic), is dedicated to putting out music with a unique yet familiar sound that captivates and delivers substantial/emotional content for listeners of any genre to enjoy and connect to. Today, they are celebrating ONE MILLION views on their debut music video, “#PictureDay,” a video that touches on gender identity. Shot by accomplished filmmaker Charlie Anderson (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Divorce, Z: The Beginning of Everything), the team were the first to use Sony Electronics’ brand new product, the Sony Venice. The camera simulator is an interactive training tool that represents the CineAlta cameras’ menu-driven user interview.

In this emotional and powerful video, PostScript instill varying innuendos of hope, power, and courage that everyone can break free of their most inner struggles, to be who they want to be with the love and support around them. The emotionally-raw music video spotlights the inner struggles of taking yearbook photos. While some relish these moments in to some of the happiest moments of their school years, others, such as the individual in the video are battling with a much more difficult time. A yearbook photo is a frozen moment in time that is a representation of who you are in that part of your life. For the individual in the video, he reluctantly overcomes his fears and finds his true inner beauty by discovering that it is okay to be who you are both on the inside and on the outside. The audience finds him dressing up in his sister’s clothing, putting on makeup, and truly feeling like the shining start he is. When “#PictureDay” arrives, he is celebrated by his classmates for his courageous efforts. The video ends with the audience seeing him wearing a beautiful white dress and make up for his most significant “#PictureDay” yet.
