The Shires – Stetsons on statues!

If you were walking around London today, you may have noticed some of the city’s most recognised statues sporting pink cowboy hats. That might have something to do with The Shires, the biggest-selling UK Country act of all time, who release their new album ‘Accidentally On Purpose’ on Friday April 20th.

With Country being one of the biggest fashion trends for Winter 2018 and The Shires leading the way in the British Country music scene, Country took over London’s statues for one day only. Kensington Gardens’ Peter Pan, Leicester Square’s Charlie Chaplin and New Bond Street’s Roosevelt and Churchill were among the capital’s statues to model The Shires’ stetsons, adding a splash of colour to some of London’s most loved historical figures.
