Composer Jeff Beal (The Long Road Home, An Inconvenient Sequel: Truth To Power) announces his spring concert schedule, which will include the world premiere of his Flute Concerto on May 3&4 in Minneapolis, MN by the Minnesota Orchestra, conducted by Osmo Vänskä and featuring flautist Sharon Bezaly.

The EMMY®-winning composer will also be in attendance at the Tribeca Film Festival with his film THE BLEEDING EDGE, from Academy Award® nominated directory Kirby Dick.

15 – (Detroit) THE PRICE OF EVERYTHING screens at the Freep Film Festival

21,22,24,26 — (New York City) Tribeca Film Festival – world premiere of THE BLEEDING EDGE

21-22 — (Minneapolis-St. Paul) THE PRICE OF EVERYTHING screens at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival.

*25 — (New York City) Premiere of “Harmony”, for the Harmony Program’s 10-year anniversary gala, performed by students and guest soloists.

20-28 — (San Francisco) Smuin Ballet performs “Oasis”, choreography by Helen Pickett


*3-5 — (Minneapolis) The World Premiere of Beal’s “Flute Concerto” performed by the Minnesota Orchestra, conducted by Osmo Vänskä and featuring Sharon Bezaly (flute)


June/July – Rob Reiner’s SHOCK AND AWE will show via DIRECTV in June and be released theatrically in July.

*July 3-8 – Guest of MOSMA festival in Málaga, Spain.

July 20 – Lauren Greenfield’s GENERATION WEALTH released in theaters
