“Bring It Down (Oseh Shalom)” begins with warbling bird sounds and an instrumental swell before Charlie’s strong vocals kick in quick, crooning above steady percussion and rocking rhythms. His smooth Hebrew verses are woven effortlessly into the rest of the slick track, giving way towards the end to sample from a speech encouraging “integrity, meaning, and peace.” The song continues, a powerful anthem built on passion and led by cool harmony.
