Effortlessly flicking through sounds reminiscent of Fleetwood Mac to The 1975, alternative pop artist Travis Is A Tourist returns with ‘beforeugogo’ music video, delivered with gentle swagger and unforgettable vocals.
Travis Gilbert launched his own personal crusade into music under the guise of Travis Is A Tourist in early 2016, influenced by a love of music, fashion and art. Since being formed, Travis Is A Tourist has supported for the likes of Lucy Rose, Hudson Taylor and Benjamin Francis Leftwich, had music underscored on BBC documentaries and recorded a duet with Polydor/Universal Records UK’s priority singing for summer 2013, Rosie Carney.
From living between Paris and Belfast, and touring Europe extensively Travis found shelter in the arms of places he visited and people he met. Travis states: “Being a tourist made me sensitive and that sensitivity came flowing out in the form of brash and honest pop songs with words that’ll make you cry and sounds that’ll make you dance.”
From April, Travis Is A Tourist will be touring alongside Ryan McMullan, who is currently supporting Ed Sheeran on his Australian arena tour
