A-Trak and YehMe2 Debut “Prayer Hands”

A-Trak and YehMe2 (Josh Young, formerly of Flosstradamus) debut “Prayer Hands” today—listen here. Hot on the heels of Ultra Music Festival in Miami, where it received several high profile spins, the highly anticipated single has already been included on The Magician’s latest Magic Tape. A bona fide DJ weapon intended for sets of any genre, A-Trak says the unclassifiable song “sounds like a mystical shaman prayer mixed with… the Macarena?”

The duo’s collaborative EP Skat Men is out now on Fool’s Gold. Although they’ve often performed together, this is the first official studio collaboration from the longtime friends and kindred spirits. The chemistry is palpable in their irreverent, genre-defying and sometimes hilarious tracks, all based around unintelligible vocal samples. Get the EP here.

A-Trak, born Alain Macklovitch, is the quintessential cultural connector. His 20-year musical path has seen him take turns as an internationally renowned turntablist, right hand to Kanye West, founder of the iconic label Fool’s Gold, Grammy-nominated producer, innovative remixer and much more. A banner year for A-Trak, 2017 saw the inauguration of his championship for DJs and producers—the Goldie Awards – and events celebrating Fool’s Gold’s 10-year anniversary across the globe. More new music from A-Trak is set for release in 2018.
