Today Wet has shared the live video for “There’s a Reason,” the first offering from their forthcoming sophomore album – watch HERE. Filmed at Hollywood’s East/West Studios, the performance video offers a preview of the band’s live show, which they will take on the road next month. The 14-date run kicks off in Philadelphia on May 15 and includes stops in New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles – see full tour routing below. Tickets are on sale now, visit http://wet.band/ for more information.

Produced by Joseph Valle of Wet and Andrew Sarlo, “There’s a Reason” finds frontwoman Kelly Zutrau examining the complicated feelings she has for someone. The answers for these feelings are not fully clear, but ultimately she acknowledges “there’s a reason/you are by my side/again.” Details on Wet’s forthcoming album will be announced at a later date.

Wet is recognized for their deeply-hued emotional pop, well documented by the New York TimesSpin, and NPR among many others. Rolling Stone noted that Wet “set themselves apart with music that combines the elegant ache of Nineties R&B with the raw honesty of indie pop…” Crediting Wet’s confessional lyrical style, their 2016 debut album Don’t You was embraced by critics and music fans alike. Their sophomore album will be released later this year.
