How would you classify your music?
R&B music with a “Throwback” feel and real life messages in the music!
Who are some of your top 5 musical influences?
JOE, Brian Mcknight, Boys II Men, Will Downling and always the pied piper KELLS.
What do you want fans to take from your music?
I want them to feel good hearing the music, and explore the message and leave wanting more or to push repeat..
How’s the music scene in your locale?
We have a thriving local music scene and its gaining momentum.
What is the best concert you have been to? What do you like most about playing live?
I went to the opera “CARMEN” I was blown away with the preparation and vocal talent and production skills needed to pull that off… I love taking the recorded version and making it hotter live where people say, ” Man he sound just like… if not better than the record.”
Is there a song on your latest CD release here that stands out as your personal favorite, and why?
“I’m not the enemy” is one of my favorite records… Any person on the planet can attest to coming into a new person’s life, who may have had previous drama or trauma and being held accountable subconsciously for someone else’s flaws by way of default reaction. That sucks, so “I’m not the enemy” addresses that.
How have you evolved as an artist over the last year?
I’ve learned to listen more, take my ego out of the song and allow my team & I to work the song as a unit, until we would rather buy the record instead of lunch LOL.
If you could meet, play a gig, co-write a song, have dinner, have a drink with any band or artist (dead or alive) who would it be?
I would love to work with or write a song with and pick the brain of Bruno Mars!
