Greyhaven Release Empty Black Full-Length On Graphic Nature / Equal Vision Records!

Progressive metal act, Greyhaven, released their highly anticipated new full length Empty Black today via Graphic Nature / Equal Vision Records. Empty Black is an explosive collection of heavy rock anthems that incorporate a myriad of influences. The album possesses an impactful, driving energy that is infectious – complete with underlying ethereal tones that set the stage for the band’s abrasive compositions. Empty Black undoubtedly positions Greyhaven as torchbearers in the resurgence of progressive metal. You can stream it now on YouTube and it is also available on Spotify.

The three singles released (“Echo and Dust Pt. 1”, “Blemish” + “Ten Dogs — Red Heaven”) from Empty Black have already been championed from tastemakers ranging from Metal Injection to Revolver Magazine to Alternative Press and BBC Radio One. The band has been equally praised for their live performance as they are in the midst of a full North American run supporting Norma Jean on the Redeemer tour alongside Gideon and Toothgrinder.

Empty Black is best encapsulated by one phrase – “make the accident look like it was on purpose”.  This isn’t due to a lack of intent, but more so to a commitment to experimentation. As a product of the vibrant yet insular music scene in Louisville, Kentucky, Greyhaven has never been afraid to pursue the avant-garde. On Empty Black they’ve created an album that is pristinely violent while challenging the norms associated with heavy rock music. The Will Putney (Every Time I Die, Body Count, Knocked Loose, Amity Affliction) produced record is out now on Graphic Nature / Equal Vision Records.
