Following the release of the extremely well received ‘Love You Better,’ Emma McGrath shares the second single from her upcoming ‘Silent Minds’ EP called ‘Butterfly’.
Since being awarded the PRS For Music Foundation’s Women Make Music grant in 2017, Emma has been working on the EP with several highly qualified and exciting producers including Grammy Award winning Jimmy Hogarth, Brit School alumni Jackson and Rhiannon Mair.
‘Butterfly’ is inspired about getting rid of fake people in your life and doing what is morally right instead of following the crowd, even though it may be detrimental to your own situation.
Emma’s most recent release, ‘Love You Better’, has racked up over 400,000 streams on Spotify, reached number 3 on the Apple Music A List Singer/Songwriter and number 1 on the Hype Machine charts, and has frequented a number of key Spotify playlists, including New Music Friday US and number 7 on the Viral Top 50 US.
Already assembling a huge amount of support at live shows including her recent “spellbinding” performance at Sofar Sounds and live session forBBC Introducing (where she performed ‘Butterfly’ and ‘Love You Better’), Emma has once again exhibited her inherent ability to create catchy pop melodies and write thought-provoking lyrics, despite her surprisingly young age.
