PREMIERE: The Georgia Flood Continue to Define their Sound with their New Release

On the heels of the release of their debut EP, People Like Ourselves, two singles in 2017, and a nation-wide tour supporting Dorothy, The Georgia Flood wasted no time getting back to the studio. The third single off their upcoming album Polaroids and Panic Attacks, “Empty Houses,” draws from inspiration from bands like Coin, The Strokes and Young the Giant.

“Empty Houses is the culmination of all our favorite alt rock influences,” explains Brooks, lead singer of the band, “but we wanted to add a modern feel to the whole thing”

The Georgia Flood consists of two brothers, Brooks Mason and Lane Kelly, with their long time high-school friends, Gavin Deleshaw and Damien Navarro. Barely into their 20’s the band is touring the country and hitting thousands of ears with genre bending unassailably addicting hooks.

“Empty Houses” is out on all platforms March 16th.
