PREMIERE: Phebe Edwards Shares Brand New Track, ‘Space’

Often compared to Mary J Blige, Fantasia Barrino and Aretha Franklin, UK’s promising R&B singer/songwriter Phebe Edwards has toured, performed and recorded with some of the industry’s greats including Liam Gallagher, Stormzy, James Brown, Adele, Jessie J, Donna Summer and Rita Ora. She was also featured on Craig David’s track ‘Focus’ from his latest album ‘The time is now’ which went straight to number 1 on Spotifys ‘New music friday’

As a solo artist, Phebe also scored some success with debut single ‘Say Suttn’ charted at number 14 in the ITunes RnB chart within hours of its release. To date her most current releases and tour support for renowned artists Gabrielle, Sam Bailey and Louisa Johnson have pushed her fan base to over 12k.

Now the North Londoner is set to release her track, ‘Space’. Written by Phebe, the latest offering features recently signed singer/songwriter Cameron Bloomfield and talented musician Kadeem Clarke. Kadeem also joined forces with producer Luke ‘G-kid’ Grant to deliver an downtempo and atmospheric take on R&B.

The track documents the sentiment of being trapped in a stifling relationship from both a female and male perspective. Phebe’s vocal delivery on this track shows a very different side to her versatile ability and will you be sure to feel the heart tugging emotion as she expresses the need to ‘just need space’.

With the release of ‘Space’, the songstress is  gearing up to perform on the 8th May at the Jazz Cafe, opening for Gabrielle’s new album launch.

‘Space’ is out now all major digital download sites, including iTunesApple Music,Amazon and Spotify
