The Liminanas Unveil Video for “Dimanche” feat. Bertrand Belin & Emmanuelle Seigner

The Limiñanas have unveiled a new video for “Dimanche,” taken from their recently released new album. Watch here. The video features French chanteur Bertrand Belin, who also provides vocals on the song, and actress Emmanuelle Seigner, who sings on the album’s title track “Shadow People.” Also present is Foulke de Boixo, the dancing hero from the album’s previous videos. The duo will embark upon a UK tour this spring. Dates are listed below.

One of France’s most beloved cultural treasures, The Limiñanas are Marie (drums/vocals) and Lionel (guitar, bass, keyboards and vocals). Hailing from Perpignan, the duo straddles the boundary between psych, shoegaze, and yé-yé. With hazy, reverb-laden hooks, combined at times with noisy distortion, and fronted by effortlessly cool vocals, reminiscent of Serge Gainsbourg and Brigitte Bardot, the band is at once timeless and quintessentially French. New album Twisting the Shadow People was recorded and produced at The Brian Jonestown Massacre’s Anton Newcombe’s studio in Berlin.
