Today – Casablanca Records/Republic Records -signed songwriter and producer SG Lewis today shares his latest single “Coming Up.” The track is the second to be taken from his expansive new project; a three-part album released over the coming year. “Coming Up” is available to buy and stream now on all partners. Check it out here!

Continuing his chronological path through one night in club music, SG Lewis’ latest track focuses on the come-up, where anticipation and excitement build as the sun sets. Taking cues from 70’s disco and 80’s electro,“Coming Up” blends genres known for bringing people to the dancefloor. “I spent a lot of time as a resident DJ in clubs and disco was always that magnetic genre,” SG says. The track was mixed, produced and vocalled by SG Lewis himself.

On April 6th SG Lewis will release part one of a three-part album DuskOn phase one SG Lewis plays with funk, west coast hip-hop and warm house to set a scene of a pre-midnight club. “There’s an undeniable beauty to this part of the night. The apprehension, excitement… Dusk is the warm-up for the heavier, darker things to come.” Pre-order Dusk Here!

The 6-track release includes features with J Warner and Kartell (Roche Musique) and will be released in full on April 6th via Casablanca Records/Republic Records. The project will soon segue into Dark – a phase dedicated to harder, post-midnight club music styles like techno and hip-hop – and finally Dawn, dedicated to euphoria and chillout.
