Jah Wobble & MOMO are set to release a special new album on the frontman’s own eponymously titled label in conjunction with this years Record Store Day event on the 21st of April2018.
‘Magrhebi Jazz’, self produced by Wobble in London with engineers Paul Maddon and Jonas Person, is released on limited edition vinyl, CD and available digitally and features five brand new tracks that blend jazz and North African music influences to great effect.
The new album sees the legendary bass player and his band line up of Mark Layton Bennett (percussion & drums), George King (keyboards) and Sean Corby (trumpet & flugelhorn), joined by MOMO ((music of Moroccan origin) who are Tahar Elidrissi (vocals, percussion, gimbri) and Hussan Nainia (guitars) who are originally from Morocco, but have both now settled in the UK.

Wobble’s most recent album ‘The Usual Suspects’ was released last year and features brand new recordings of some of his finest solo, Invaders Of The Heart and Public Image Limited output from an incredible and genre bursting career that spans nearly forty years. Following a short UK Tour earlier this year, Jah Wobble & The Invaders Of The Heart will play the following dates in the coming months – more dates will be announced very soon.
