Benjamin Lazar Davis (Okkervil River) Shares New Song “Right Direction,” Co-Written with Kimbra

Benjamin Lazar Davis released his new song “Right Direction” today; the ethereal track was co-written with New Zealand pop star Kimbra and is the second single from his forthcoming debut solo album. In an interview with Consequence of Sound, Davis shared how artists from Earl Sweatshirt to Florida Georgia Line influenced the song’s creation.

Nothing Matters is out May 4 on 11A Records and is available for pre-order now.

Benjamin Lazar Davis will be on tour this spring in the UK in support of Anna & Elizabeth and the U.S. pulling double duty playing bass with and opening for Okkervil River.
