PREMIERE: Eoins Releases New Single ‘Valley Oh Glittering Haze’

Wrapping up our premiere day, we are finishing our international travel at Estonia where we find Eoins who’s back with the release of his new eerie and incredible single ‘Valley Oh Glittering Haze’.

About the song, Eoins comments:

“It is another story of a disoriented human mind caught in a haunting mental environment conveyed through more or less abstract figures of speech rather than clear messages. Nothing romantic or sacred to be found here though, it’s all in line with my preference for everyday aesthetics. My favorite song on Rites.”

Eoins’ Rites, debut album by the frontman of the now gone Estonian post-punk band lack of Eoins, is due for release on 19th March 2018 on pioneering indie label Seksound, run by members of cult dreampop Estonian band Pia Fraus.

The new eclectic album features songs in various genres characterized by restless rhythmic and harmonic convolution.

Lack of Eoins was once a four-piece indie punk band, gathered in 2005. A couple of years later their demos had caught the eye of some of the local music enthusiasts eventually leading to debut album Echo Group released by Seksound in 2009.

The band concept slowly faded away, but the lead singer and songwriter Madis Järvekülg kept experimenting and improvising with electronics, samples and vocals at home.

The album has been recorded over a three-year period with the help of sound engineer and producer Martin Kikas.
