Malibu’s Allie Crow Buckely Premieres New Song “Captive”

Allie Crow Buckley, singer-songwriter from Malibu, California, released her new single today, the lush siren song “Captive.” Buckley says the track is built on a metaphor — “When you’re in a bad relationship feeling trapped, it’s like being on a boat out to sea – and all of your loved ones are ashore waving for you to come back, and you’re yelling sayonara! Going through the motions trying to figure it out.”

Buckley will be playing a residency at Los Angeles’ Bootleg Theatre every Monday in the month of March, starting on March 5. The shows are free and begin at 8:30 p.m.
