Brooks Brown & J Ingram Team Up For New Project Surprise Party!

Brooks Brown has made a name for himself with his lush originals featuring Felix Snow collaborator Madi, rising Nashville duo Truitt, and future pop vocalist Matt Kali. Emerging into 2018 with a new project, Brooks Brown has enlisted indie pop vocalist and longtime friend J Ingram to create Surprise Party!. Having grown up together in Kansas City, the duo has a deep history of collaboration that followed them to the University of Southern California where the project came to life. The music draws influence from artists like The 1975, Phoenix, blackbear, and Jeremy Zucker.

Their debut collaborative 6-track EP pulls from their years of writing, recording, and performing together to create a new artistic vision. Their self titled Surprise Party EP is a beautiful collection of stories inspired by their hometown experiences. Combining live instrumentation with electronic production, Surprise Party! crafts soulfully elegant pop scented tracks that breathe an infectiously dreamy soundscape. Surprise Party! is destined to be one of your new favorite duos of the year.
