Louis Antoniou announces new single “You Ain’t The Girl”

“You Ain’t The Girl” is the latest offering from rising alt. rocker Louis Antoniou, available on all platforms now. Listen here. Having made his debut with explosive single Bad Applein early 2017, the London-based singer has taken his gritty blend of 60’s alternative rock, blues and indie to eager crowds throughout the capital, with new release “You Ain’t The Girl” a marked fan favourite.

An upbeat track showcasing Antoniou’s trademark tongue-in-cheek lyrics over a bluesy backdrop, this single brings a catchy sing-along chorus that has helped Antoniou build a strong fan-base throughout a hugely successful 2017. A television appearance at Dingwalls, Camden followed by festival slots at Y Not Festival and Dot to Dot propelled Antoniou towards a prolific Autumn of gigs, culminating in shows at The Camden Assembly and 93 Feet East. With experience beyond his years, channelling the likes of Joe Strummer and Elvis, the 24-year old has brought an exciting, unpredictable brand of bluesy rock to the indie world, a much-needed breath of fresh air in an already oversaturated genre.

With “You Ain’t The Girl” the first of five single releases recorded at The Crypt Studios, alongside another packed year of gigs and appearances, the independent musician is going from strength to strength – with 2018 set to bring uncharted heights of success. With a barnstorming set of tracks and an equally exhilarating live show, Louis Antoniou is a name not to be forgotten this coming year.
